4 ½ octave Spinet by Andrew Durand, Seale 2002

This spinet has a compass of 4 ½ octaves (C,D - f³) with a harp stop. The case is veneered in walnut with a sycamore line, teak banding and bog oak mouldings, and the instrument sits on a trestle stand. The keyboard has laburnum naturals with pear keyfronts, and the sharps are in pear capped with box. The soundboard is in spruce, the jacks are in cherry with holly tongues and delrin plectra.

This spinet is tuned to a¹=440.
