Clavichord by Thomas Goff and Joseph Cobby 1965

We are pleased to offer for sale this clavichord by TRC Goff and JC Cobby made in 1965. This clavichord has a compass of 54 notes (C - f³). The case is veneered in burr walnut with walnut banding and sits on a trestle stand. The keyboard has ebony naturals and carved keylevers.

The nameboard bears the inscription ″T.R.C.G. ET J.C.C FECERUNT MCMLXV″

This clavichord is tuned to a¹=440.
Dimensions: 1240 × 410mm.
Overall height: 762mm.

This instrument has been fully serviced in our workshops, and is available to play and inspect by appointment.
