Clavichord by Robert Goble N°422, Oxford 1969

We are pleased to offer for sale this fine clavichord by Robert Goble, made in Oxford. This clavichord has a compass of 4 octaves & 7 notes (AA - e³). The case is in walnut and sits on four tapering legs. The keyboard is in lime with blackwood naturals and white topped sharps and the soundboard is in spruce.

This clavichord is tuned to a¹=440.

This instrument has been fully serviced in our workshops, including restringing, and is available to play and inspect by appointment.
