Spinet by Hugh Craig N° 220, Haslemere 1982

This small, portable spinet from Hugh Craig has 4 ½ octaves, C to f³, with harp stop. The jacks are plastic with leather plectra. The case is in sapele with a spruce soundboard and bridge and nut in beech. The keyboard has rosewood naturals and sharps also in rosewood with a celluloid capping. The instrument stands on 4 square-tapered screw-in legs for easy transportation.

Dimensions: 1410 × 900mm approx.
Tuned to A=440.

This spinet has been maintained by us for several years, and was given new leather plectra in October 2011.
This instrument is in very good overall condition and full playing order, and comes with its original maintenance manual and tuning hammer.

The instrument is available to play and inspect at our workshops by appointment.
